Hi all,

I haven't been on here for a while so I apologise for this. I hope you are all doing as well as you can and that the good weather is helping you all some.

Am in need of a little help. Am on loads of drugs but specifically methotrexate and humira. My hair is getting very thin and am struggling to colour my hair myself. I used to have hilights and was wondering whether anyone on here has their hair hilighted and also on the mtx and humira and if you have had any problems with this. Cant find any help on any website and wondered if anyone can help me.

Thanks ever so in anticipation. Long may this lovely weather last.

Thanks again

Jackie-P xxxxx

Hello Jackie,
Yes I have my hair highlighted now and again and the colour is fine. However my hair has definately got thinner! You could maybe discuss this with a hairdresser rather than trying to do it yourself?

ps I'm on mtx and Humira too.
YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.

Hi JulieM,

Thanks for your help on this one. Will speak to my hairdresser and see if she can find any info out. Take care and thanks again.

I am on mxt and have my hair coloured at the hairdressers. I did have a big problem with hair thinning but it is growing again now. My hairdresser uses a lower heat on the dryer, uses a softer, gentler brush and puts conditioner on my hair and wraps a warm towel round it for a few minutes.
